URI- SRI-LANKA NATIONAL
ASSEMBLY-2014
U.R.I-Sri-Lanka National Assembly-2014 was
held at Sarvodaya District Center, Nilaveli Road, Tricomalee Sri-Lanka on 22nd and 23rd
march,2014. The objective of the Assembly was
Strengthen the solidarity between the Uri Cooperation Circles of Sri
Lanka to evaluate the activities that has been done during the past few years.
To prepare the work plan for the ensuing year.
Dr. A. T Ariyarathne, Founder President of
Sarvodaya Movement inaugurated the Assembly. Dr. Abraham Karickom, URI- Asia
Executive Secretary presided over the assembly Mr. Sarath Abeygunawardana,
secretary of the Eastern Provincial council was the key note speaker. Mr.
Ravindra Kandage did introductory speech. U.R.I CCs in Sri-Lanka (Badulla
C.C,Batticaloa CC, Colombo CC, Gallee CC, Kandy CC, Tricomalee CC, Shanti Sena
CC) presented their reports. Prof. Kamal Waleboda was the Moderator. Prof. John
Kurakar, Prof. P.K Varghese, Prof. Molly Kurakar, Mr. Susan Abraham, Mr. Aby Abraham
was also participated the assembly
