EXCELLENT ENTRANCE COACHING FOR MEDICINE AND ENGINEERING

Cosmic Community Centre, Karickam in collaboration with Karickam International Public School will offer excellent entrance coaching for 10th Passed out students during April and May, 2013. A group of eminent professors will be leading classes. English training will also be provided on Saturdays for those in need.

THE PURPOSE OF THE UNITED RELIGIONS INITIATIVE IS TO PROMOTE ENDURING, DAILY INTERFAITH COOPERATION, TO END RELIGIOUSLY MOTIVATED VIOLENCE AND TO CREATE CULTURE OF PEACE, JUSTICE AND HEALING FOR THE EARTH AND ALL LIVING BEINGS
URI WAS FOUNDED IN THE YEAR 2000 BY AN EXTRAORDINARY GLOBAL COMMUNITY COMMIITTED TO PROMOTINGENDURING DAILY INTERFAITH COOPERATION AND ENDING RELIGIOUDLY MOTIVATED VIOLENCE. IT INCLUDES THOUSANDS OF MEMBERS IN OVER 70 COUNTRIES R4EPRESENTING MORE THAN 120 RELIGIONS SPIRITUAL EXPRESSIONS, AND INDIGENOUS TRADITIONS
The National conference was began on 8th December at 6 pm with opening prayer, introduction, Recognition and welcoming Dinner
2nd day: - 9th December, 2012- The second day was started with Breakfast and opening prayer. The seminar on “Interfaith actions for peace and harmony  by Swami Chaturvedi, Chennai was at 11 am and publish URI India roaster at 12.45 pm
The National conference members visited Tagore’s Shantinikatan at 2 pm on 11th.
10th December, 2012:-
The closing day began at 8 am with breakfast and Morning Prayer. Reflection of the Shantinikatan tour was main programme of that day. Award distribution function and cultural Evening are attractive. 4th day, 11th December, Kerala team members visited Mother Teresa’s home and swami Vivakanda’s memorial

UN INTERFAITH HARMONY WEEK CELEBRATION

























UN INTERFAITH HARMONY WEEK CELEBRATION

Karickom International Public School observed UN Interfaith Harmony week on 2nd February,2013 at KIPS Auditorium. The inauguration function began at 10 .30 am, with silent prayer. Dr. Samuel Nellikattu welcomed the members. Mr. K.K Joy, Kerala Kavya Kala Sahithy Artist inaugurated the Harmony week. Prof. John Kurakar, President, Kerala Kavya Kala Sahithy presided. Dr. Abraham Karickom, Chairman, KIPS delivered the key-note address. Mr. Sajan Koshy and Mr.  Jiji Mathew, Principal, KIPS also spoke on the occasion. Following the inauguration session various competitions started. Quiz competitions for students and Public was very interesting and intellectual. Elocution Competition was the third item of the day. Prof. John Kurakar was the Quiz Master. The prize distribution was at 12.30 pm Prof. Kurakar and Dr. Abrahan Karickom distributed the cash awards and Merit certificates to the winners.
